My interior design services are cost efficient and highly practical. I am committed to delivering quality and value for my clients.
No two projects are ever the same and from the start I will work with you to establish the right level and approach to suit your project.

ROOM DESIGN
One of my most widely favoured services is Room Design. This is for clients looking to create an entirely fresh space in their home or update of an existing one.
During an initial meeting I can derive a project brief, develop an understanding of your aspirations, lifestyle needs, style preferences and budget to be able to produce a fixed-fee, quotation for my design work for you.
This service includes:
-A home consultation to meet you and discuss your brief and produce a room survey.
-Initial concepts in the form of mood boards and sketch layouts.
-An interim meeting to discuss ideas, take on feedback and develop a final proposal.
-A finished design will be presented at a final meeting as a scaled layout plan, sketch colour visuals, image mood board, materials board of physical samples and a fully specified list of furniture, fittings and finishes with costs and ‘where to buy’ to enable you to implement the design.
-Recommendation and links to my trusted trades.

SPACE PLANNING
For clients who are at the beginning of a renovation or build project my Space Planning service is an excellent way of focusing on how to get the best from your home. A successful arrangement will use your home to its full potential and avoid awkward, cluttered or clashing spaces.
By undertaking a planning exercise I will look at all available space on your floor plan and determine 3 options for how to create a future arrangement that will work for you. Using 3D overviews I can show you how your interior will look both in terms of layout, materials and even how your existing or new furniture will fit into these schemes.
This service includes:
– A home consultation to meet you and discuss your brief
– A full survey of the floor or floors in your home to be redesigned.
– A return visit to produce 3 layout options of the area to be redesigned.
As a follow up to this service LPID can produced scaled technical plans and if necessary lighting/electrical plans that can be shared with your chosen build team to enable accurate costings for your project. This extra work will be costed separately to the Space Planning service.

GENERAL CONSULTANCY AND ADVICE
Perhaps you are finding it difficult to get started on your project or you just need to talk to somebody about paint colours? A one-off consultation with me may be all that is required to set your project on the right track.
Alternatively for bigger projects I can offer ongoing design support according to your needs as your project evolves.
KITCHEN AND BATHROOM
ADVICE
If you are planning a new kitchen or bathroom you might be relying on a kitchen showroom to take care of the layout and design. However it is advisable to take advice from an impartial designer with a broader view to ensure that the layout is a good fit for your home and that all of the design elements integrate together well for a really coherent finish.
My services are available on their own or in combination according to your needs. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
DESIGN & CONSULTANCY FEES
Space Planning and Room Design
A fixed-fee is agreed with the client at the start of the project following an introduction to the project (usually on site) I can usually provide an indicative cost when you make an initial enquiry.
Consultations
A one hour consultation is charged at £165 for the first hour* followed by £52 per each additional ½ hour.
*Based upon locations within approx 10 miles of Basingstoke. For greater distances I may at my discretion charge a small extra fee. Please enquire.
Consultations will be followed up with a summary email of my recommendations and providing helpful links to any item suggestions.
Client-Led Consultancy
For longer term consultancy advice and design guidance please enquire as to my hourly rate.
